Shipping policy
Where we ship
We currently ship to addresses in the United States. PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses may be accepted depending on the supplier. If your address isn't available at checkout, we can't ship there.
One order, several packages
Our products come from several independent suppliers, and each one ships its items to you directly. If your order includes items from more than one supplier:
- your items will arrive in separate packages, possibly on different days
- you'll get a separate shipping confirmation and tracking number for each package
Nothing is missing if one package shows up before the others. If you're unsure, just email us.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
Processing and delivery times
Processing time is how long a supplier takes to prepare and ship your item. Delivery time is how long the carrier takes after that. Business days don't include weekends or holidays.

These times are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, and holidays can slow things down.
Tracking
When each package ships, you'll get an email with its tracking number. Tracking can take up to a day to update.
Address problems
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you spot a mistake, email us right away at renee@beyondthetypical.org. If the supplier hasn't shipped yet, we'll try to fix it. Once a package has shipped, we can't change where it's going.
Lost, late, or damaged packages
- Shows as delivered but isn't there? Check with neighbors and around your home, and wait a day, because carriers sometimes mark packages early. Then email us.
- Running well past the estimated delivery time? Email us and we'll follow up with the supplier and carrier.
- Arrived damaged? Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Please report it as soon as possible, because some suppliers ask to hear about damage right away. Our Return & Refund Policy explains what happens next.
