Choosing the right weight
Hazli recommends this 5 lb blanket for children about ages 3 to 7 who weigh 40 to 70 lbs. A common rule of thumb is a blanket that's about 10% of your child's body weight.
Important: Weighted blankets are not for infants or toddlers. Please check with your child's doctor or occupational therapist (OT) about whether a weighted blanket is right for your child and which weight to use.
Care: Unzip the cover and machine wash it on a gentle, cold cycle, then tumble dry low. Spot clean or hand wash the inner blanket as needed.
